Presenting information about a real estate project is just a small part of actually learning how to invest in real estate, but it can be a bit unnerving if you don’t have the right skills to do so. Here are three presentation skills that will help you whether you’re in the board room with investors, or at the kitchen table with sellers.
1. Be Confident. Nothing sells better than confidence. You know how to invest in real estate, now show everyone else that you know what you’re talking about. You can build your confidence by simply building your knowledge about the project in general.
2. Don’t forget the graphics. Graphics are a great way to show stats and projections to investors and sellers. Use vibrant colors and remember to include a key for each section of the report.
3. Speak Clearly. The worst thing you can do during a presentation is mumble or speak so low that no one can hear you. While you don’t have to shout, you should make sure that everyone in the room, specifically those in the back, are able to hear you clearly.
By showing confidence, speaking clearly and using colorful graphics in your presentations, you have a much better chance of selling your project or investment to the people that you want to get on board. These skills can be learned in no time, and are essential to every serious real estate investor
